Day 1: Nairobi (Hemingway’s Collection) (D)

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be chauffeured from the Nairobi Airport to Hemingway’s Hotel, a premier 5-star luxury establishment in Kenya renowned for its exceptional services and comfort, standing as the finest boutique hotel in Nairobi. The journey, spanning 1 hour and 30 minutes, sets the stage for your safari experience, with a brief orientation upon arrival followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Hemingway’s Collection.

Day 2: Nairobi – Lewa Wilderness  (B, L, D) (Fly-In)

Take a direct flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Lewa Downs, where you’ll be greeted upon arrival and transported to Lewa Wilderness, embarking on a game drive along the way. Depending on your arrival time, savour lunch and spend the afternoon exploring Lewa Conservancy, or indulge in sundowners followed by an exquisite candle-lit dinner at Lewa Wilderness.

Day 3-4: Lewa Downs (B, L, D)

Prepare for another two days filled with engaging activities and exciting discoveries. In addition to experiences that bring you intimately closer to the wildlife, delve into a behind-the-scenes tour of Lewa Conservancy’s conservation efforts, providing you with an insider’s perspective on safeguarding this precious ecosystem.

For an added thrill, opt for a memorable scenic flight aboard the Waco Biplane (additional cost). Your meals will be served in the lodge, offering breathtaking panoramic views, or as a delightful picnic during your safari, allowing you to relish all that Lewa Conservancy has to offer. Spend the night at Lewa Wilderness.

Day 5: Lewa Downs – Maasai Mara (Little Governors’ Camp) (B, L, D) (Fly-In)

Set out after breakfast, taking a direct flight from Lewa Downs to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred directly to Little Governors’ Camp, with a brief game drive en route followed by an al fresco lunch under the trees.

Embark on an exhilarating afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm, returning in the dusk for drinks and conversations around the campfire before enjoying a delightful dinner. Drift off to sleep to the enchanting night-time sounds of the Masai Mara, spending the night at Little Governors’ Camp.

Day 6-7: Maasai Mara (Little Governors’ Camp) (B, L, D)

Greet each morning with an early rise to fully embrace the spectacular location. Each day unfolds with the option of three game drives within the Mara National Reserve, allowing for immersive encounters with the rich wildlife of this region.

Whether you’re inclined towards game drives, cultural visits to Masai villages, walking safaris, or simply indulging in the tranquillity by the river, there is a variety of activities to suit your preferences. Additionally, you can opt for some downtime or indulge in our safari spa treatments for a truly relaxing experience.

On the second day, elevate your adventure with an extraordinary hot air balloon journey through Governors’ Balloon Safaris (note: additional cost) over the vast expanses of the Masai Mara plains. This surreal experience commences just before dawn; depart from the camp at 5:15 am to reach the Governors’ Balloon Safaris take-off site, located behind Little Governors’ Camp.

The enchanting sunrise flight, lasting approximately one hour, is subject to weather conditions. Upon landing, relish a delightful bush breakfast, expertly prepared on balloon burners amidst the heart of the Mara plains. Celebrate your return to Earth with your pilot over a glass of sparkling wine.

In the later evening, return to your camp for a delectable dinner and an overnight stay at Little Governors’ Camp.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi (B) (Fly-In)

Conclude your memorable journey on the final day with an early morning game drive at sunrise, followed by a delightful breakfast at the camp. If your departure from the Mara is scheduled for a late afternoon flight, seize the opportunity for one more game drive in the late morning, followed by a delicious lunch back at the camp.

After lunch, you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch the afternoon flight with Governors’ Aviation. Upon arriving in Nairobi, you will be greeted and transferred to a restaurant for dinner (payment to be made directly at the venue). Following dinner, you will be transported to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight home.
