Day 01: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park – HomeBase Kruger or Similar (D) (385km)

Budget Kruger Safaris

Commence your journey at noon, ensuring your pickup is scheduled no later than 12:00 PM from the O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) bus terminal. Travel through the picturesque Lowveld, passing through Nelspruit, and proceed to Kruger National Park. Take a brief break en route to stretch your legs and enjoy a snack and refreshments. Continue your journey through the Schoemanskloof pass and the towns of Nelspruit and Malalane. Upon reaching Marloth Park, check in at your lodge and arrive in time for dinner.

Day 02: Kruger National Park – HomeBase Kruger or Similar (B, D)

Embark on an early pre-dawn adventure this morning, setting out for a captivating sunrise Kruger Game Drive. Traverse the serene southern expanses of the Kruger Park from the Crocodile River aboard an open vehicle, immersing yourself in the enchanting wilderness as the sun paints the sky with hues of gold and orange all in search of the African Big 5. After this exhilarating experience, return to the lodge for a leisurely late breakfast, savouring the moments of the morning safari.

The remainder of the day unfolds at the lodge, providing ample time to soak in the unique offerings of Marloth Park. Whether it’s the tranquil surroundings, diverse flora and fauna, or the cozy ambiance of the lodge, take the opportunity to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.

As the day progresses, anticipation builds for another exciting adventure. In the late afternoon, prepare for a late afternoon Game Drive in the Kruger Park. Once again, board an open vehicle to explore the wilderness as the day transitions into evening. Witness the changing colors of the landscape and the emergence of wildlife in the cooler parts of the day, creating a magical atmosphere. This Sunset Game Drive promises an immersive experience, allowing you to capture the essence of the Kruger Park’s diverse ecosystems.

Day 03: Kruger National Park – HomeBase Kruger or Similar (B, D)

Embarking on yet another exhilarating adventure, our day begins with an exciting full-day open vehicle game drive safari in the renowned Kruger National Park. This expedition offers us the perfect opportunity to spot any of the magnificent Big 5 animals that may have eluded us on the previous day’s safari. Moreover, it provides us with an excellent chance to enhance our wildlife photography skills, capturing stunning moments that we can share on our social media platforms to inspire awe and admiration among our followers.

Day 04: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg (B) (420km)

Following an early morning breakfast, your shuttle is scheduled for departure at 5:15 am. Anticipate reaching Johannesburg by 12:00 noon at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
