Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara (Little Governors’ Camp) (D) (Fly-In)

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be greeted and transported to Wilson Airport for your Governors’ Aviation flight to Masai Mara. The approximately 45-minute flight offers stunning views as you soar over the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley.

Upon landing in the Masai Mara, a brief game drive awaits en route to the camp, followed by an al fresco lunch with a panoramic view of the Mara River (or marsh, in the case of Little Governors’). Enjoy an exhilarating afternoon game drive starting around 3:30 pm, returning at dusk for drinks and casual conversation around the campfire before your dinner. Drift off to sleep accompanied by the enchanting night-time sounds of the Masai Mara at Little Governors’ Camp.

Day 2-3: Masai Mara (Little Governors’ Camp) (B, L, D)

Rise early each morning to fully embrace your breathtaking surroundings. Each day presents the opportunity for three game drives within the Mara National Reserve, allowing you to immerse yourself in the abundant wildlife of this captivating destination.

For those seeking variety, a range of activities awaits – from game drives and visits to Masai villages to walking safaris. Alternatively, relish the wildlife unfolding by the river or indulge in our safari spa treatments at your leisure.

On the second day, elevate your experience with a truly unforgettable adventure – a hot air balloon journey with Governors’ Balloon Safaris (please note that this is an additional cost) over the expansive Masai Mara plains. This enchanting journey commences just before dawn; depart from the camp at 5:15 am to reach the take-off site behind Little Governors’ Camp.

The mesmerizing sunrise flight, lasting approximately one hour, provides unparalleled views, contingent on weather conditions. Upon landing, savour a delicious bush breakfast, freshly prepared on balloon burners amidst the vast Mara plains. Celebrate your return to Terra-Firma with your pilot over a glass of sparkling wine.

In the evening, return to your camp for a delightful dinner and spend the night at Little Governors’ Camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi (B) (Fly-In)

Conclude your journey with an early morning game drive at sunrise on your final day, followed by a delightful breakfast at the camp. If your departure from the Mara is scheduled for a late afternoon flight, seize the opportunity for an additional game drive in the late morning, followed by a scrumptious lunch back at the camp.

Following lunch, you will be transported to the airstrip for your afternoon flight with Governors’ Aviation. Upon arriving in Nairobi, a transfer will be arranged to take you to a restaurant for dinner (direct payment for dinner). After the meal, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight home.
