Our 4 day safari in Kruger Park was excellent. Everything went perfect from start to finish. David was really helpful when there was any problems. In Kruger our safari guide Alex was really commited and passionate, thanks to him we have seen and learned a lot.

The location of the lodge is perfect, you can see hippos and elephants daily passing by the fence and by the waterhole. The food is nice, the game drives are excellent. The people both from the company’s and the lodge’s side are just absolute sweethearts. I loved everything about my stay there.

Sandy Tracks was amazing! They were always very helpful and managed for us to go on safari despite covid and the current situation in South Africa. The service was perfect! All the communication and payments beforehand went by smoothly and easily. It is a great vale for money!!! We had two nights stay at Kruger with an amazing family and the full day safari for very cheep price! They are very reliable people and I completely recommend it.

Everything was on time, all staff (at the lodge, in Kruger) were kind and welcoming. Even though it’s called a budget tour, car was super comfortable, lodge room was great (oh, that bed… so good).

Thanks for making my first trip to South Africa so memorable!

This was our first safari experience and definitely not our last. Very good communication with the team, fast responding and flexible. We want to give a special thank you to our driver William between camp and safari, providing us with hot amazing coffee before our sunrise and giving us very interesting information about the animals. Also a thank you to the cook (who made delicious vegetarian food) and the staff in the lodge, everybody’s so helpful and nice. We will definitely come back!!!

We booked our 8 days tour with African Budget Safaris, but they subcontracted the tour with Sandy Tracks, so we had no communication from Sandy Tracks before departure. We had a very good surprise with David : he is a wonderful guide for such a trip through the namibian desert. He knows the place as well as the bottom of his pockets and kindly provides a lot of interesting informations – and stories – about the history, the landscapes, the wildlife and the plants. So, the journey was awesome !

Very good organisation. We felt so safe and home. Homemade dinner and breakfast was excellent. Room was so comfortable and very clean. Peter and the staff at hotel were very kind and Nice. They brought us back to the rent a car place and he waited for us to make sure that we don’t have any problem renting car. Guide were also excellent . They told us everything and also very interesting détails about all the animals . Made us laughed with their jokes. Nothing can be better in this place because everything was excellent 🙂

Everything was better than I expected. From the pick-up in my accommodation in a comfortable minivan, the stay in a lodge where I felt part of a family, the sunset tour and the incredible full day tour. I definitely recommend it and would book it again if I ever return to South Africa.

My trip with Sandy Tracks was fantastic. David, our guide and the founder of the company, was hugely knowledgeable and an excellent tour guide. We visited sites we never would have been able to on our own, and ate like kings despite cooking with a camp stove! Excellent value for price and cannot recommend enough

Pick up from the hotel at JB airport worked perfectly, great and very friendly staff at the Home Base Lodge. Very clean rooms. Response from the teamwas quick and professional. I would defi ately recommend this Safari!!!
